A Jolly Time at A Local Christmas Market

People browse stalls at A Local Christmas Market at Hawcoat Park.

What a jolly time we had yesterday running A Local Christmas Market at Hawcoat Park.

This was one of the biggest events we have ever organised and we’re so thankful to everyone who attended, Katrina, Mark, Hugh, Hugh’s mum Gill, and all our team for volunteering throughout, and Sam from Hawcoat Park for allowing us to use their brilliant venue.

A big thank you especially to everyone who played our tombolas, name the bear game, popped some pennies in our collection buckets. Thanks to you we raised over £580 towards supporting local autistic children and adults.

We hope we brought lots of festive cheer to Barrow and look forward to working on future events with local businesses in the future!

If you came along we’d love to hear about the merry time you had and if there’s anything you’d like to see us do in 2024.
